We, the members of The World’s Church of the Living God, do believe and abide by the standards set forth in this creed.
- We proclaim Jesus as the world’s only hope, whereby there is no other name by which man can be saved. (Acts 4:12/Colossians 1:27)
- We believe that Jesus was born of the virgin birth given by God by the Holy Ghost. (St. Luke 1:34-35)
- We believe that Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of the world, to all who shall believe. (St. John 3:16-17)
- We believe that Jesus was buried and remained in the tomb three days (72 hours), and on the third day rose from the dead and is alive eternally. (St. Luke 23:46-47/St. Luke 24:1-8)
- We believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:38)
- We believe in ministering by the laying of hands for receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 8:17/II Timothy 1:6)
- We believe that salvation is eternal. (St. John 10:28-29)
- We believe in obeying the minster(s) set in authority of God over the church of God. (Hebrews 13:17)
- We believe that the saved people of God shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air – THE RAPTURE. (1 Corinthians 15:51-55/1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
- We believe that women are not given the authority to preach or usurp authority over the man. (1 Timothy 2:12-15/1 Corinthians 14:34)
- We believe that every woman praying or prophesying should have her head covered. (1 Corinthians 11:5-6)
- We do not believe in allowing men to put us in bondage concerning the traditional celebration of men so called holy days etc. (Romans 14:4-6/Galatians 4:9-11/Jeremiah 10:1-5)
- We believe that in praying we should pray lifting up our hands, without wrath and doubting. (1 Timothy 2:8)
- We believe everyone is responsible for their own life and behavior. “….Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. (Romans 14:5)
- We believe, as the people of God, we must love one another as Jesus loved us. (St. John 15:20/2 John 1:5/1 John 4:19-21)
- We believe that there’s no respect of person in God’s House, in God’s Church there is no color, we are all one. (Romans 2:11)
